50-year-old woman stabs boyfriend for ‘eating all of the salsa’

Phyllis Jefferson, a 50-year-old Ohio woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend after complaining that he had been “eating all the salsa” they were sharing.

NBC News reports that police found Jefferson's boyfriend, Ronnie Buckner, 61, bleeding outside his Akron, Ohio, home around 4 p.m. Sunday.

Jefferson had stabbed him with a pen after she started yelling about his salsa intake, NBC News reports.

She then tried to knock over his TV, and he had to catch it from falling, the police report said. As he watched TV, Jefferson retrieved a small kitchen knife and stabbed Buckner in the stomach, according to the report.
