UPDATE: CPD investigating Brainerd area shooting

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Police have identified 24-year-old Thadius Montgomery as the Brainerd area shooting victim.

Montgomery's injuries are non-life threatening.

Police also tell us the exact location of the incident is still unknown.

Chattanooga Police still ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing. 


PREVIOUS:
The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Brainerd area at 12 Saturday afternoon.

A 24-year-old male arrived at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The victim told police he was driving in his vehicle somewhere in the Brainerd area when he was shot.

Officers are continuing to search for the location of incident. There is no available suspect information at this time.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing.
