One bar and grill gets a failing grade, and a near perfect score for a pizza place
Hamilton County restaurant inspectors hit the streets again this week putting lots of places under the microscope. About 17 places were visited, and we do have a failing grade of 64 to pass along to you.
A failing grade is any score lower than a 70. Remember, they have 10 days to correct all critical violations at Lively's Bar and Grill on Ringgold Road.
Inspectors found spoiled food, chemicals stored improperly, wastewater was leaking from the dishwashing sink, clean glasses were being stored on a dirty surface and the men's bathroom needs a good cleaning. They score a 64.
They were also inspected in October of 2014 and scored an 82.
Now to the other end of the spectrum, how about an impressive 99 at the Little Caesars on Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy. Great work!
Remember, if you have complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, or day care call the Hamilton County Health Department Hot Line at 423-209-8110.
Have a great weekend, and enjoy your meal!
