Thursday, March 19 - Bridge display competition
The ASCE Steel Bridge display competition will take place from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on the Walnut Street Bridge with a closure of Walnut Street from Aquarium Way to the bridge. Traffic control will be present to direct cars during loading/unloading of buses. For more information please visit,
Friday, March 20 - Lane Shift on Dallas Road
The traffic pattern in the northbound (outbound) lanes of 900 Dallas Road will be affected by a storm sewer improvement project on Friday, March 20. Southbound (inbound) traffic will be narrowed to one lane, and the northbound (outbound) traffic will be shifted to the remaining southbound inside lane between Meroney Street and Sylvan Street. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists. Hours of operation will be 9:00am to 2:00pm, weather permitting.
Sunday, March 22, 2015 - Strides of March run
The Strides of March, an organized run, will take place from 7:30 am until 10:00 am, starting in Coolidge Park. Runners will cross Cherokee Boulevard with traffic officer assistance and run up Spears Avenue and through Stringers Ridge. Please watch for runners on sidewalks and crossing streets.
