UPDATE: The lockdown for both schools has been lifted and normal dismissal procedures are in place.
But the one suspect remains at large Monday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, two Bradley County schools have been locked down as a precautionary measure Monday during a suspect search.
Charleston Elementary and Walker Valley High School have been locked down as the Tennessee Highway Patrol, along with agencies from Bradley and McMinn County are searching an area near the schools for a suspect.
Three suspects have been apprehended; one remains at large after a THP trooper stopped a speeding vehicle in the fog zone near miler marker 38 on Interstate 75 north.
After the trooper collected information from the driver, the car fled, nearly striking the trooper in the process.
The suspect has active warrants, Channel 3 has learned. The Tennessee Highway Patrol's aerial team, along with the TWRA have joined in the search.
