UPDATE: Chattanooga Police say 19-year-old Tristan Rogers was injured when he accidentally shot himself.
Investigators say Rogers was walking down South Seminole Drive when he attempted to adjust a gun in his pants. The gun fired. Rogers was treated and released from a local hospital for what police call non life-threatening injuries.
The Chattanooga Police Department is currently investigating the shooting of a 19-year-old white male that happened just before 4 p.m.
The victim arrived at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators are working to determine the location of the incident and are unsure, at this time, whether it occurred within Chattanooga city limits.
