UPDATE: Young man helped by Target employees lands job
Remember that Raleigh teenager who became a social media sensation after a shopper snapped a photo of him trying on a tie at Target?
WCNC in Raleigh reports Yasir Moore landed the job he was applying for at Chick-fil-A.
Moore was at the Target to buy a clip-on tie before he went to his interview. The store only sells regular ties, so a Target employee stopped what he was doing and gave him a quick lesson, then other employees went over interview etiquette. Those same Target employees surprised Moore at his final interview, where he was given the job, and a Chik-fil-A tie Friday morning.
A Target employee provided some loving care for a young man who came in looking for a clip-on tie for a job interview.
A shopper snapped a picture, and now it's going viral.
The store didn't stock the easy-on ties, so the employee picked out a full sized one, and showed him how to tie it. The "photographer" of the photo shared it on her Facebook page, along with the details:
Several Target employees then gave him tips on how to win over the job interviewer, and advise on giving a firm handshake. They even cheered him on when he left the store.
The woman who posted the photo says: she "bought headbands, ham, and had my heart warmed."
