Emily brought along a new sock monkey when she came to meet us. She named it Ruby and says it gives her hope for her future.

Emily, "I got this sock monkey from a secret Santa person. It means a lot to me. I want to help other people. Someone wanted to help me." 

She, in turn hopes to work with young children or in Special Ed because of a boy she knows who is disabled.

Emily,"I feel like people judge him for the way he looks and the way he acts but in reality he really smart. Smarter than the average person. You've just gotta be patient with kids like that."

Emily has a big heart, she's is a smart girl, who likes school, music, the outdoors and staying positive..

Emily, "Don't focus on the negative and don't look in the past but if you keep on focusing on what's important to you one day you'll be able to do something greater that what you are able to do now."

Those who know Emily say she will do well in a secure, loving two parent home.

Emily, "I just keep remembering what's important to me and what I want in life, " Reporter, " Tell me what that is."

Emily, "I want to be adopted again. I want to be able to help other people."

Her ideal forever family would be active, play sports go to church. "Want to be able to go and do things."cindy
