Woman charged with assault after stabbing boyfriend during argument
A 22-year-old Calhoun, GA woman faces one count of aggravated assault after stabbing her boyfriend during a domestic dispute.
Saturday, January 31st around 3:45 a.m. Calhoun Police were sent to Peters Street after Randi Chiesa called saying her boyfriend was injured and having trouble breathing. When officers arrived, they found a man sitting inside a vehicle with a stab wound to the chest. After talking to both the victim and the suspect it was discovered that the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest with a kitchen knife during an argument.
The victim was taken to Erlanger by Life Flight, where he remained until Monday.
Chiesa was taken to the Gordon County Jail.
