Good Wednesday. We will be a little cooler today, but it will still be a mild, amazing afternoon. Yesterday the high in Chattanooga climbed all the way to 67 degrees. Today will manage to get up to 59, still well above the average high of 50. Skies will be mostly sunny.
Thursday we start with a low of 35. We will see an increase in cloud cover as an area of low pressure develops and begins to move across the Gulf coast. I think the rain will hold off, but it will still be even a little cooler with the high reaching 54.
Friday will be chilly and end up rainy. We start with a temp of 38 in the morning. The high will only get up to about 45. It will be cloudy through the day with rain showers moving in late in the day and lasting into the overnight. Rainfall amounts look like they will range from .25" to .50".The rain tapers off by Saturday morning, and we begin the weekend in the mid 30s. By Saturday afternoon it will be partly cloudy with a cool high of 49. It will be chilly Sunday also with lows in the upper 20s. Look for a high of 51 Sunday afternoon.
Monday, I am watching an area of low pressure that may dive southward, and bring some mixed precipitation to the area to start the week. Temperatures Monday don't support anything sticking or freezing, however. Lows will be in the mid 30s Monday morning, then it will climb into the mid 40s Monday afternoon. More on that in coming days.
