(NBC Sports) - Pancakes at Waffle House? Say it ain't so!

LPGA player and native Chattanoogan Brooke Pancake announced Tuesday a new sponsorship deal with Waffle House. As part of the arrangement, the 24-year-old will visit Waffle House restaurants around the country and, among other things, post stories on social media.

“This will be the first time that the Waffle Nation will be cheering for a Pancake,” president and CEO Walt Ehmer said in a release.

“To be quite honest,” Pancake said, “I prefer waffles over pancakes anyway.”

Pancake was the nation's top college player during her All-American career at Alabama. She turned pro in 2012.

She also played golf while she attended Chattanooga's Baylor School, and was four-time State champion.
