Savannah spent her Christmas break writing hundreds of thank you cards to police in New York and Texas. She delivered many in person, across East Texas, in Houston, Dallas - and now Austin. Her message was simple and straight from the heart.

"You are my heroes. I want to say: Don't stop. Please don't give up," Savannah told the officers. "Many do not care or appreciate the sacrifices you make every day, but I do."
