KNOXVILLE, TN (WRCB)-- The University of Tennessee's Team 119 for the upcoming football season is coming together, with ten members of the 2015 class already enrolled early in school. Meaning they'll be able to be with the team for spring drills. A few of the new faces met the media for a little "getting to know you" session.
" I like to say I play the game with a physical edge, I like to play nasty," explains incoming freshman offensive tackle Jack Jones. " I just like pancaking people," quips Chance Hall, another new offensive lineman for Tennessee.
" I was like, man, like it felt like so great to just finally be down here and finally be a part of the team, not by recruiting class but a part of the team," says incoming quarterback Jauan Jennings. " Its been a little bit difficult in terms of transition but, you talk about family, I got here and these guys took me in as soon as I got down here and so they made it easier these last couple of days."
" We've gotten really tight, hanging around all the time and watching the game together the other night," adds Hall about the camaraderie. " We've just been hanging out a lot together and we got some classes together, so we're getting real close."
I'm a Tennessee guy, I was born and raised in the state of Tennessee, been cheering for the Big Orange my whole life," explains Jones on his decision to attend UT. " And I just couldn't see any other place for me to go. That's been my dream, running out of the "T" so I really can't wait for that day."
