Ohio State's Herman juggling coordinator, Houston coach jobs
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Coaching a team in the national championship game is a big enough job on its own.
Ohio State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Tom Herman has to do that and start a new job at the same time.
Herman was hired as Houston's new head coach last month. So while prepping third-string quarterback Cardale Jones for what he'll face when the Buckeyes take on Oregon on Monday night, he's also been assembling a staff, overseeing recruiting and trying to lend a hand in making arrangements for his family's life-changing move to Houston.
Time management and sleep deprivation are Herman's two biggest challenges as he hopes to finish up one high-profile job with a victory while laying the groundwork for success at his new school.
