Not as cold, but still chilly heading into the weekend
Good Friday! While the air this morning is not as biting and dangerous as yesterday morning, it is still freezing starting out. This afternoon, we will manage to get to 37 in Chattanooga, but that's about it. Tonight, another blast of cold air will cause temps to plunge into the mid to upper teens. Winds should remain light, but I would still expect wind chills in the single digits when you wake Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon will see the cool air lingering. Expect a high of 38 Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Saturday night temps will drop into the upper 10s and low 20s.
We will warm noticeably Sunday afternoon with a high of 45. Skies will become cloudy as low pressure drifts through, bringing a 30% chance of isolated showers Sunday afternoon.
Next week I expect fairly mild temperatures with lows in the 30s and highs in the 40s each day. There is also a chance for some pop up showers each day. A front moving through Wednesday will give us our best chance for rain showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
