UPDATE: Brother of missing UTC student: "I feel like I have to find him myself."

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - UPDATE: One of Ali Ali's roommates called his brother Hassan Elnour, a medical resident at the University of Mississippi, Tuesday morning. Ali's roommate told him Ali didn't come home last night and no one can get ahold of him.
His brother knew right away this was serious and says he isn't leaving Chattanooga until he gets some answers.

"He didn't use his bank account, he doesn't have money," said his brother Hassan Elnour, "He's on foot, it's really cold outside, he's new to the country, he doesn't know anybody. The only people he knows is like the four roommates he has here."
Elnour last spoke with his brother Sunday night. They talked about his upcoming semester at UTC.
Ali's roommate says Ali's priority is on his education and he's never missed a class.

"Monday was the first day of classes and he's missing on that day?" said Iyad Abdulmajeed, "This is very unusual."
Ali is an international student from Sudan studying electrical engineering. His bank account hasn't been touched since he paid his rent Sunday night.
On Monday, he met with an engineering professor around noon, and he's been missing ever since.

"He's not in his well-being, I'm sure," Elnour said, "He wouldn't do this by himself."
Elnour put up posters around campus and notified both campus and city police.
He's even trying to get apple to give up the location of Ali's IPad.

"They said it's not an emergency, that's what he told me, that it's not an emergency."
Those searching for Ali feel the police aren't doing enough. They think it could be because he's an adult. But even though Ali is 24, he's only been in the US since August.

"We feel like we're just left out alone on this," Abdulmajeed said, "We need somebody to step up and help us you know search for the guy."

Every day Ali isn't found, his loved ones become even more frustrated.

"Waiting for hours and waiting for tomorrow, and after tomorrow and now it's five days," Elnour said, "That's too much."

Chattanooga police sent out a missing person's alert Thursday afternoon.
Ali's brother is asking anyone with information to call Chattanooga police or himself at 571-354-1609.
