A couple was arrested over the weekend in North Carolina. Deputies say they appeared to be making a drug deal in a cemetery.
Elizabeth Pulaski and Juan Lopez-Vega were charged with narcotic violations Saturday night.
Cherokee County deputies were checking the Moss Cemetery after getting complaints of people loitering there, believed to be dealing drugs.
When the deputies arrived they found Pulaski and Lopez-Vega in a vehicle where deputies say they found and seized a sizeable amount of methamphetamine and cash.
The two are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
On Friday, Brandon Banks was sentenced to 15 years for aggravated rape and eight years for aggravated sexual battery, both to be served concurrently.
Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
