Chattanooga police are investigating a fourth shooting on New Year's Day.

The victim told police he was walking near 4000 Grand Avenue when he was shot by an unknown suspect driving a four door sedan.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where police later responded.

The victim is believed to have a non-life threatening injury.

It's unclear if this latest shooting is connected to the other shootings from hours earlier that resulted in the death of two people.
