FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - The U.S. Attorney's Office says more than 17 pounds of heroin worth up to $1.5 million has been seized from a house in Fort Wayne.

U.S. Attorney David Capp described it as "the largest heroin takedown ever" in northern Indiana.

They are charged with possessing with intent to distribute 1 kilogram or more of heroin and conspiring to possess with intent to distribute 1 kilogram or more of heroin. Innocent pleas were entered and they requested public defenders.
