KNOXVILLE, TN (WBIR) -

A Knoxville family puts on quite a show each year for Christmas and this year's it's bigger than ever.

Kevin and Katrina Lomneck decorate their home and yard at 1211 East Woodshire Drive with about 50,000 lights and syncs them to music.

Folks who drive by can tune their radios to 91.5 FM to listen and enjoy the whole experience as they watch the lights.

The couple started hanging the lights the day on Nov. 1 and didn't finish until Thanksgiving night, but the music programming is the most time consuming.

"We run a program called Light-o-Rama. It takes me about eight hours per song to program each song to music," said Kevin Lomneck. "We have 22 songs and each of them are about 2 minutes a piece."

The Lomnecks add a new song or two to the line-up each year.

They say they put on the production to give families a free activity to enjoy together. The couple often hands out candy canes to visitors as well.

The show runs through the first weekend of January.

You can find more information on the lights at the Lomnecks' Facebook page, Wonderful Lights of Woodshire.
