Good Monday. Our first full day of winter is off to a mild start. Temperatures this morning will be in the mid 40s, about 10-15 degrees warmer than yesterday morning. The first half of the week will stay mild and rainy.
Today, look for overcast skies and highs in the low to mid 50s. We may see a few stray showers this afternoon, but more widespread rainfall will move through tonight into Tuesday morning. Temperatures Tuesday will start in the mid 40s and only climb into the mid 50s. On and off we will see scattered showers Tuesday with another round of heavy, widespread rain moving through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
For Christmas Eve, we will see the day start with a low of 51. It will climb to 57. Skies will be cloudy all day, and we can expect on and off showers through the day. Winds will be increasing, blowing from the west at 10-20 mph. Those winds will start to blow in much cooler air for Christmas Day.
Thursday morning will be dry and chilly with lows in the mid to upper 30s. It will stay cool and dry all day with partly cloudy skies, and highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday will start cold with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s. Then we will warm up quite a bit with a high of 55.
