Vols practice Monday before holiday break

KNOXVILLE, TN (WRCB)---The Tennessee Vols have one more practice set for Monday before heading off for Christmas break and the TaxSlayer bowl that is less than two weeks away.

Sunday, the team took to Neyland Stadium as they prepare for the Iowa Hawkeyes Janaury 2nd in Jacksonville, Florida.
Head Coach Butch Jones getting the team ready for the game and the time off that comes with the holiday,
For Jones, "keeping focus" is the working mantra.
" You constantly try to educate them. They have kind of been in uncharted waters not just for this entire bowl preparation but the entire season. You have to rely on your maturity and only the ability to play on a center stage, January 2nd in the TaxSlayer Bowl and they had a great week, about 10 days of preparation for this great bowl game. Now it is what you do with it when you go home. But it is also very deserving for them going home and being able to be with their family and their relatives over the holidays," said Jones Sunday.

Team 118 is set to return to the practice field next Sunday and will head to Jacksonville the following day for on-site bowl preparation.
