UPDATE: Acting on a tip agents with the 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force attempted to arrest Joshua Lee Ward for possession of meth and a stolen 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck. Ward took off and in the process crashed into four law enforcement vehicles.  Ward was finally taken into custody.

Ward was arrested on a violation of probation warrant for a previous auto theft conviction, as well as an additional active arrest warrant for theft over $10,000 out of McMinn County for the pickup.  He now faces charges for aggravated assault, felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, Simple Possession of Schedule IV drugs, and driving on a revoked driver's license.  

Tennessee Highway Patrol was on the scene to deal with the accidents. Polk County Sheriff's Office aided the Drug Task Force in apprehending Ward.
