CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB)---The 2014 football campaign for UTC is in the books, but working forward and toward next season is already under way for Mocs' Head Coach Russ Huesman and staff.

Speaking to Coach Huesman Sunday afternoon at his office, he says Friday night's loss to New Hampshire in the FCS playoff quarterfinals still stings, but he's focusing more on the positives of the past season than the less than glorious conclusion.

Despite graduating seniors such as tight end Faysal Shafaat, running back Keon Williams and defensive stalwarts like Davis Tull and Derrick Lott departing, Huesman likes his compliment of returning players.

Even so, he's looking ahead to reonecruiting, starting bright and early Monday morning.

" Yeah, you probably saw the coaches all heading to Enterprise to pick up the rental cars and start tomorrow," says a chuckling Huesman. " We'll get to rest after this week because it becomes a dead period."

Huesman says he will personally handle the "in-person" visits to his wish list of UTC recruits.
