KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The investigation into rape allegations against two University of Tennessee football players is complete.
According to an email from Knoxville Police spokesman Darrell DeBusk, the case file has been turned over to the Knox County District Attorney's Office.
District Attorney General Charme Allen did not immediately reply to an email sent Saturday morning asking whether she intended to pursue charges against Tennessee linebacker A.J. Johnson and cornerback Michael Williams.
A 19-year-old woman has accused the two players of raping her at a Knoxville apartment Nov. 16. A second 19-year old woman has said she was sexually assaulted by Williams at the same location, but she has declined to press charges.
Johnson and Williams have been suspended from team-related activities. Neither player has been charged or arrested.
