Cooling down the next few days

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - (WRCB) - Good Monday! We start the work week with near seasonable highs in the lower to middle 50s today under partly to mostly cloudy skies (normal high is 54°). A few sprinkles can't be ruled out today or tonight as a weak cold front moves through the area. Otherwise, tonight is mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s.

Behind the front Tuesday there may even be a few snow flurries in the higher elevations of the Blue Ridge mountains and into the northern part of the Cumberland Plateau, especially near Crossville and northward. Highs on Tuesday in the city will be near 50°. Tuesday night is colder with some clearing and lows near 30°.

On Wednesday we see a mix of clouds and sun and chilly highs in the middle to upper 40s. Thursday and Friday will be sunny with highs returning to the 50s by Friday.

Next weekend will be largely dry with a slight warming trend. Lows will be in the 30s but highs get a boost into the upper 50s by Sunday!
