Posted: Updated:

ATHENS, GA (AP) - Agricultural economists from the University of Georgia plan to hold a series of seminars to talk about what 2015 will hold for the state's agriculture industry.

The 2015 Georgia Ag Forecast seminars will be held around the state Jan. 14-23.

The annual seminar series is organized and hosted by the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Kent Wolfe, director of the UGA Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development, says the seminars can help farmers plan what they're going to plant in the coming year, but also helps bankers and others who do business with farmers.

Sessions will be held Jan. 14 in Gainesville, Jan. 15 in Cartersville, Jan. 16 in Bainbridge, Jan. 21 in Lyons, Jan. 22 in Tifton and Jan. 23 in Macon.
