Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is proposing a three-year, $263 million spending package to boost law enforcement training and police department reform. It would include $75 million for to help pay for 50,000 small cameras that police can wear on their lapels.

Obama isn't seeking to pull back federal programs that provide military-style equipment to police departments.

The president is discussing the conclusions of a three-month review today in a series of meetings with his Cabinet, civil rights leaders, law enforcement officials and others.
