Mocs begin FCS playoff game week under the lights

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB)--The UTC football Mocs are back from Thanksgiving break and are focused squarely on preparing for the program's first ever home playoff game at Finley Stadium Saturday, as they host the Indiana State Sycamores.

The Mocs taking to their home stadium for practice Sunday night under the lights.
Head Coach Russ Huesman says his team is relatively healthy thanks in part to the bye week and is taking a business as usual approach for the visiting Sycamores of the Missouri Valley Conference.

" We're treating this like another game, but they know and I told them, you know, this is the 24 best teams in the country playing right now so, its not like you're going to show up and play a bad team. I mean everyone you play from here on out are going to be really good, you're going to have to prepare well to win each week and if you don't you get beat and you're done so I think they understand that, we've got a mature team, " says Huesman reassuringly.

Kickoff is set for Saturday at 1pm.
