PREVIOUS STORY: Whether they were in bags, boxes or tubs.. Donations came pouring in Friday at One Accord Community Church.

It's where the Lockhart family attended church for several years. As soon as word got out of Wednesday's fire, members innately organized a donation drive.

“We don't have to be members of the same church to do the work of the Lord. So I'm seeing people coming from different churches, different backgrounds, just having that kind heart and kind spirit and that's what Christ's love is all about and I'm getting to watch that today,” Pastor Justin Ray Williams said.

Isaiah, 5, and his mom Tiffany Sneed were some of those people. He could barely carry the box in his hands, but what's inside is a big deal at his age.

He was a little nervous to go on camera, so his mom did the talking for him.

“We brought food and Isaiah's Nintendo Wii and some video games for the kids to help keep their mind off the bad,” Sneed said.

Isaiah and the Lockheart's youngest son played baseball together. He wanted to help one of his friends.

For his mom, it's hard to imagine what the Lockheart family is experiencing right now.

“It's just so sad. I don't know how you explain to your kids that their mom is gone and dad is in such bad shape. I don't know. I'd break down crying. I can't imagine,” she added.

Others dropped off items by the trunk load with the same task in mind: Wanting to give anything to help ease the burden of what this family is going through.
