Good Tuesday. With the passage of a cool front, we will have a little bit of a chill in the air today. The high will reach 57 degrees. We will see an area of low pressure developing along that front, and move up the east coast tonight. As it does, it may bring a mix of light sprinkles and flurries to parts of the Blue Ridge. Lows tonight will drop into the mid 30s.
For Wednesday, it will be another cool day with partly cloudy skies and a high of 54. Another cool front will drift in late in the day bringing mostly cloudy skies, and a few light rain showers Wednesday night. The low Wednesday night will be in the low to mid 30s as we head into Thanksgiving morning.
Thursday will be cool. The high will reach only 48 degrees, and we can expect some light breezes blowing from the north through the day. On the back side of a low pressure area that will bring Thanksgiving snow showers to the northeast, we may see a few flurries in some of the higher elevations on and off Thursday. No accumulation is expected, however, as temps will be well above freezing all day.
Friday will be cold and dry. The day will start in the upper 20s, and only climb to the low 50s. We will warm back up over the weekend. Expect highs in the upper 50s and low 60s this weekend.
