A burger chain needs some scrubbing, and a local BBQ joint gets a perfect score

Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department inspected 35 restaurants this week. The good news; no failing grades to pass along to you.

A failing grade is any score lower than a 70 and at 83 the Hardees on Browns Ferry Road just needs to fix a few problems.

Inspectors found creamers at the wrong temperature, employees had the creamers at 68 degrees and the creamers should actually be stored at 41 degrees. Also, the floor in the walk-in freezer needs cleaning along with some of the kitchen shelving. Inspectors also found that the men's bathroom was dirty. Once again, they score an 83.

The high score of the week and it can't get much better than this as a whopping 100 at Andy's BBQ in Soddy Daisy. Now that's smokin' good news.

Remember any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, feel free to email me. I will immediately pass your complaints and concerns to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon who will most likely respond to your email that day.

Enjoy your meal!
