Warmer weather starts moving in this afternoon

Posted: Updated:

Good Wednesday.  Despite our best efforts Tuesday, we were just short of a record.  The record minimum high for yesterday was 34 degrees.  We managed to make it to 35.  So close!

After a cold start with lows in the 10s this morning, winds will increase a bit this afternoon from the southwest.  That means a warmer flow of air allowing us to climb to about 47 with mostly sunny skies.

Tonight, we cool back down, but to a much more tolerable 30 degrees.

The warming trend will continue through the week, climbing to the upper 50s by Saturday afternoon.  No rain or snow is in the forecast through Saturday.

Sunday will see incredibly warm weather with lows in the 50s, and a high of 67!  We will see widespread rain Sunday morning into early afternoon.

Next week, we will start warm with a high of 61 Monday and a few isolated showers Monday afternoon.  We dry out and cool back down Tuesday with a low in the low 30s, and highs retreating a bit to about 50.

Good Thursday.  We have another bitterly cold start today with temps in the low to mid 10s this morning.  Fortunately, our winds are fairly calm this morning so wind chill won't be as much of an issue heading out.
