BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson has been appointed to the advisory board for The University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service's Law Enforcement Innovation Center (LEIC).

Sheriff Watson's appointment is based on his extensive experience working within the Criminal Justice system and his community outreach and recognizing their needs for law enforcement.

The advisory board consists of current law enforcement personnel, criminal justice and forensic science professors and directors of professional associations.

Members of the board serve two-year terms and counsel the center's leadership on law enforcement community trends that dictate the type of training offered.

I'm happy to represent our area on the board,” said Sheriff Watson.

LEIC provides training for law enforcement personnel from across the country. Areas of training include forensic science, school safety, homeland security and leadership. This is a non-paid appointment.
