The Georgia Supreme Court has ruled on a high profile murder by a former LaFayette cop.
Convicted murderer Sam Parker's appeal was denied. Parker's case was tried in 2009 in Walker County, where he was convicted of the 2007 murder of his wife, 911 dispatcher Theresa Parker.
Her body was later found in late 2010.
One reason that Parker appealed his conviction was his defense team claimed evidence was collected by police without a warrant.
The court later ruled there was "no error" during legal proceedings.
Parker was sentenced to life in prison.
