INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has become the fourth member of the NFL's 2,100-point club.
Vinatieri accomplished the feat with a 31-yard field goal with 4:19 left in the first quarter Sunday night against his former team, New England.
The only other players to top 2,100 points are Morten Andersen, Gary Anderson and Jason Hanson. Vinatieri now has 2,101 points.
At age 41, Vinatieri is looking as good as ever. He has made all 27 field-goal attempts and all 32 extra-point attempts this season. He needs five more points to become the first NFL player with 17 career 100-point seasons. He and Jason Elam are tied at 16.
