Reports: Muschamp out at UF

GAINESVILLE, FL (NBCNEWSCHANNEL)-- In news that will come as a surprise to few, The University of Florida will reportedly be looking for a new head football coach.
Multiple outlets are reporting that Florida has fired their fourth-year coach, effective at the end of this season.
The final straw likely came in yesterday's overtime loss to rival South Carolina, which made for the Gators' sixth loss in their last eight home games.
Muschamp has long felt his seat warming in Gainesville, having lost 13 of his last 22 games and finishing last season 4-8. The first losing season for Florida since 1979.
The University of Georgia product came to Gainesville in 2010 to replace Urban Meyer.
He will reportedly coach the final two games of the season against Eastern Kentucky and Florida SWtate, then step down.
So far, Muschamp has compiled a record of 27-20 in four years, including 17-15 in the SEC.
The replacement speculation will now grow to a feverish rate.
