Girl eats with Santa

Posted: Updated:
Gracilynn Wilson is an energized little three year old.

One of Gracie's favorite holidays is Christmas.

The inside of the Wilson's home is all decked out all ready.

When Gracie and her family went to breakfast this week, they stopped at Bob Evans.

A gentleman just walked in looked identical to Santa the glasses, the outfit, the hair, just perfect.

Gracie immediately recognized who it was

Gracilynn, "Santa Claus!"

Lindsey Wilson, mother, "Well Gracie, will love this so when we get seated turns out our table is right next to his and he's sitting by himself.

Not wanting Santa to eat by all alone,

Gracie, "I saw Santa Claus.  I seen Santa Claus."

Gracie marched right over and joined Santa for breakfast.

Gracie, "He was eating a long time ago.   And I was eating."

She pulled up a chair and they started having a conversation like they knew each other for years.

Gracie's family captured the moment and sent the photo to WFIE.   They posted it on Facebook and it's been shared across the country.

Gracie and Santa talked about everything over a cup of coffee, and juice for her.

When he asked her what she wanted for Christmas, all she said was her baby brother James which is due in like three weeks.

Gracie is so excited to be a big sister.   She wanted no presents for Christmas, just her new baby brother.

"It was cool to see a three year old say they don't want anything for Christmas and they just want their baby brother here."

So we set out on a mission to track Santa down and we found him doing what he does best.

Santa, "Tell you what I thought that was pretty special.   She I think understands about having friends and she was quite a special young lady."

Santa was awfully busy and we couldn't hold up the line much longer, but he made a promise to Gracie.

"She is an awfully special young lady and I am going to have a few surprises for her this year."

We think those surprises might involve two little feet and a new baby brother.
