HTI Employment Solutions, a staffing company, announced Thursday plans to expand to Chattanooga and help fill 300 manufacturing jobs.
The announcement was made Thursday morning at the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.
The staffing company will help fill jobs at Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors. The company announced in May it will build a new facility next to Volkswagen.

HTI plans to open a Chattanooga office, located at 6012 Shallowford Road, and will hold a job fair at the Embassy Suites Thursday, November 20 from 10:00am - 7:00pm.

HTI is seeking operators, technicians, team leaders and other positions to staff the Plastic Omnium facility.

Pay rates for the available positions start at $14.25 for all shifts, and require a high school diploma or GED, and previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Healthcare options and 401k benefits are available.

Plastic Omnium's payroll will include 300 people as early as three years after opening, according to officials.
Plastic Omnium is a tier-one supplier for Volkswagen and other major auto manufacturers and the new Chattanooga jobs will include painting and assembly of things like bumpers and fenders.
