Good Thursday. The cold weather has arrived! We saw temperatures plunging into the 30s this morning. Some of you were even fortunate enough to see a few flakes of snow with the overcast skies. We will stay cold all day with a high of only 45 this afternoon. Average highs this time of year are in the low 60s! Skies will begin clearing late this afternoon into tonight.
That will allow us to cool down even more Friday. We will start the day with lows in the low to mid 20s. Skies will be sunny in the afternoon as we only eek out a high of about 42.
The weekend will stay chilly. Saturday we start with lows in the mid 20s, and manage to make it into the upper 40s. Sunday look for lows in the low to mid 30s. It will be cloudy Sunday morning with rain showers developing through the day. Sunday's high will be near 50.
Monday I expect some of the rain showers to linger through the first part of the day. Lows Monday morning will be mild in the low 40s, so any precipitation will be as light rainfall. It will clear out late Monday with a high of 47, then another blast of cold air moves in Tuesday with the high only reaching 39.
