Suspects sought after woman, 75, hog tied, killed

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Investigators have been canvassing a Douglassville neighborhood in their search for suspects after a 75-year-old woman was found inside her apartment, dead and hog tied.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports ( that officers were interviewing others in the apartment complex, located about a half-mile from Douglas County High School.

Douglasville Police Chief Chris Womack said Monday night that authorities weren't immediately sure of how the woman had been killed. Womack said she was last seen alive around 9 a.m. Monday. She was found dead around 6 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say some of the woman's belongings appear to have been taken from her apartment.

The woman's identity hasn't been released and police haven't named any suspects in the case.
