Good Monday. Our work week starts where the weekend left off. We will stay unseasonably warm today and Veterans Day, but a big cool down is moving in later in the week.
For today, we can expect a little patchy fog this morning. As it burns off, light southerly winds will bring in some warmth. Highs this afternoon will manage to flirt with 70 degrees. High pressure will keep skies clear and sunny. Tonight, skies will be clear and we will be a little more mild with lows in the mid 40s.
Overall, Veterans Day looks good. It will be warm and sunny starting out with the high once again reaching about 70. Late Saturday afternoon, however, clouds will build as a cold front approaches. We will probably see a few light showers as the front slides by Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Behind the front, cool air will start to trickle in.
Wednesday, after a mild start with temps in the upper 40s, we will only warm to the upper 50s in the afternoon. Wednesday night we can expect temps to drop into the upper 30s.
Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy, and another blast of chilly air will invade keeping highs in the upper 40s Thursday. The low Thursday night will fall into the upper 20s as we head into Friday morning. Friday afternoon will be in the upper 40s as well.
For the weekend, Saturday will start with a low of 28, and climb to 51 with sunny skies in the afternoon. Sunday will start a bit warmer with lows in the mid 30s. By Sunday afternoon, we will be in the upper 40s, and another front will bring some rain showers in Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
