Good Wednesday. If you cast a vote for cooler weather, you will be pleased with the late week forecast, but we have some raindrops to dodge first.
For today, we will be mostly cloudy with a mild high of 65. A front will push through rain showers this evening into tonight. Ahead of the main line of rain, we may even see a few light sprinkles this afternoon. Rainfall amounts will range from .25" to .75". We could see heavy rain at times tonight, but no severe weather. Tonight the rain showers will continue then taper off as we move into Thursday morning. The low Thursday will be in the mid 50s, and it will stay warm through the day as the high reaches 67. Behind the front, we will be breezy with west winds at 10-20 mph.
The cooler air will really start to filter in Friday morning. The low Friday will drop into the upper 30s, and Friday's high will only reach 54.
The weekend will be cool and comfortable also with highs in the upper 50s, and lows in the mid to upper 30s. We will have periods of clouds both Saturday and Sunday.
We are watching another developing system next week that could bring a few rain showers next Tuesday and a major cool down toward the end of next week.
