CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
Good Tuesday. Enjoy this nice warm up. It won't last long.
Light southerly winds around a ridge of high pressure to our south will nudge temperatures up to about 70 this afternoon. After some morning clouds, I think we will see some clearing later in the day. Tonight will be mostly clear with the low dropping to about 47 degrees.
Wednesday is going to be mostly cloudy as a front approaches. We will still see highs near 70. Look for rain showers Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning with rainfall amounts ranging from .25" to .50". By the time you wake up and head out Thursday morning, skies will already be clearing with the high climbing to about 65.
Friday will be much cooler with a low Friday morning of 41 and a high of 54.
The weekend will be cool as well. Saturday, another front will be approaching and could bring a few light showers to the area Saturday night into Sunday morning, but the rain chances are small, and should not be a major interruption to your weekend. Temperatures this weekend look like this. Saturday 38/57. Sunday 40/50.
