DOVER, Del. (AP) - Authorities say they have lifted a lockdown at Delaware State University after a student was shot at an off-campus residence hall.

    

Dover Police Cpl. Mark Hoffman said Monday night that while the shooter is still at large, investigators believe the crime is an isolated incident.

    

Hoffman says the shooting took place after 4 p.m. at the Living and Learning Commons, about a half-mile north of the campus.

    

Dover emergency manager coordinator Kay Sass identified the victim as a male student. Sass says he was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

DOVER, Del. (AP) - A spokesman at Delaware State University says one person has been shot at an off-campus residence hall and the shooter is at large.

The Dover campus is on lockdown Monday night.

Campus spokesman Carlos Holmes says the victim was taken to a hospital.

Holmes says the shooting took place sometime after 4 p.m. at the Living and Learning Commons. It is a former Sheraton hotel.

The campus was put on lockdown around 5:30 p.m.
