KNOXVILLE, TN (WRCB) -
The Studio Four Design Inc. of Knoxville will design and oversee the next phase of the $15,000,000 renovations of Thompson-Boling Arena at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
The design work will begin immediately. The renovations will include improvements to men's and women's locker rooms, upgrades to restrooms, concourse improvements, mechanical and electrical upgrades and a new roof.
“We couldn't be more excited. “We were involved in the first major renovation of Thompson-Boling Arena several years ago and are excited to continue our relationship with UT on this next phase of the work,” said Stacy Cox, S4D President.
Studio Four Design Inc. has done work in 17 different states. Local projects include the award-winning Three Rivers Market, Altar'd State stores nationwide, Knox County's new Karns Senior Center, the Joan Cronan UT Volleyball facility and a variety of churches across the area.
“Our slogan is ‘Design Matters', and we truly believe that. “We spend a lot of time with our clients on the front end to understand what they want and need in order to develop a design solution that delivers the needed results. It makes a real difference,” said Cox.
