Good Monday. After a cold weekend, temps near 70 later this week will almost feel like a heat wave.
This morning, temps dropped into the upper 20s and low 30s. High pressure drifting to our southeast will give us a light southerly flow of air that will help to warm us to about 64 this afternoon with lots of sunshine. That's about 10 degrees warmer than yesterday afternoon.
We will warm even further Tuesday. After a low of 39, we will climb to 69 in the afternoon. It will even reach 70 Wednesday. Clouds build Wednesday afternoon, and Wednesday night another front will move in and bring some light scattered showers to the area that could linger into Thursday morning.
Thursday afternoon we will begin to cool back down with highs drifting back down into the low 50s by the end of the week.
For the weekend, we can look for cool temps in the low to mid 50s for highs and mid to upper 30s for lows. There is a chance for a few light showers Saturday night into Sunday morning.
