GORDON COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Gordon County deputies have arrested a man wanted for murder.

Deputies say James Talley was arrested Monday, about a day after the shooting death of a man in the Hill City community.

Investigators say they found Talley's truck abandoned in a rural part of central Gordon County. They found Talley nearby trying to put out a brush fire with a can of beer.

Officials say he started the fire to keep warm and it grew out of control.

Talley was arrested on murder charges. Officials say he had the weapon believed to be used in the murder.
