(KTIV) Over the summer Steve Williams from Storm Lake, Iowa broke his back after being thrown from his vehicle during an accident. Now, he's confined to a wheelchair and is unable to harvest his 300 acres of corn.
This week some friends and neighbors stopped by the farm to help Steve out.
"Some people came as drivers, said Brenda Klein, Steve's oldest daughter. "Some came, not just with their combines, but also with semis and grain carts and tractors."
A lot of equipment for a big job.
"It's very humbling, it really is," said Williams. "A lot of times we all get together and help each other. If someone has a problem or a fall at sometime of the year, we help one another."
