Good Wednesday. Today is transition day. We will finally bid adieu to the unseasonably warm air and welcome in some true fall Tennessee Valley air.
A front that brought rain showers this morning will continue moving east. Winds behind the front will blow from the northwest at 10-15 mph, bringing in much cooler air through the afternoon. Highs today will only reach 66 degrees.
It will be clear and chilly tonight as the low drops into the low 40s.
I expect Thursday to sport mostly sunny skies as the high stay in the mid 60s.
Another front will move through Friday. This one will bring increasing clouds through the day with a few afternoon/evening light showers possible. It will also be a bit windy as the front moves through. Winds will blow from the north at 10-20 mph during the evening. Hope for the best, but you should expect it to be a somewhat windy with a few showers as the kids are out trick or treating during the early evening.
This front will bring in even colder air for the weekend. Saturday we will start out with a low in the upper 30s. It will still be a little breezy Saturday morning as well. Winds will die down in the afternoon, and we will have sunny skies as the high only makes it to about 56.
Sunday will start even colder with lows in the low to mid 30s! Sunday afternoon will be sunny with highs near 60.
